Mission Statement
The mission of the Management program is to provide students a strong foundation in general business content and a specialized focus in management theory to prepare them for an entry-level position in operational or services management, to explore opportunities as an entrepreneur, or to attend a graduate program.
Through exposing the business management student to a rigorously integrated sequence of upper level coursework that builds on the core body of general business studies, the program of study in the major provides students with a solid grasp and appreciation of the dynamic nature of management thought and action, together with a systematic conceptual framework for understanding both the role of a modern complex organization and for evaluating the effectiveness of managerial actions in the control of these
