Be at the leading edge of innovation – Engineers play a significant role in finding new sources of energy, create efficient transportation, improve sustainable agricultural practices, develop products, and increase the standard of living for many communities.

Enter a creative and dynamic career with scope for travel, diverse job opportunities, transferrable skills and rewarding impact with UniSQ’s Bachelor of Engineering (Honours).

Apply your knowledge through practical work experience and an exciting final-year research project that will give you industry experience. You’ll work with practicing engineers as mentors in project-based learning courses. If you’re already working in the industry, you can bring your own work to use as student co-designed assessments.

Your courses will connect engineering problems with the United Nation's sustainable development goals to ensure your learning make an impact and contribute to solving global challenges.

After two years of full-time study with UniSQ, you’ll be workplace-ready and gain an additional Associate Degree of Engineering qualification as an embedded award on your way towards your Professional Engineer status.

Create a unique skillset and competitive edge by studying a double degree. Combine this engineering degree with another UniSQ bachelor qualification to pursue your interests. Alternatively, choose elective courses from across the University to meet your career goals.

Progress at your own pace. UniSQ offers courses in three study periods (trimesters) throughout the year to allow you to study when it suits you. Choose to fast-track through the degree by enrolling full-time in courses in every study period, spread a part-time course load across the full year, or keep a trimester free for work experience or personal commitments.

Experience the flexibility of studying either on-campus or online while receiving the relevant practical skills needed via residential school courses to graduate career-ready.

Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as a Graduate Professional Engineer.
