Graduates leave with a thorough grounding in critical business competency areas including accounting, finance, management and marketing, management as well as the principles of Shari’ah law. This gives them a rare, but very sought after combined understanding of both western and Islamic business cultures and practices.

The standard progression for the course comprises two trimesters per academic year. However, the Academy may offer an optional Summer Trimester, bringing it to a total of three trimesters per year. While the summer terms may be shorter than the standard trimesters, the volume of learning required would be the same as the first two trimesters. Depending on units offered, new students may also enrol in the Academy in the Summer Term.
