While international politics modules are taught in English, the minor is entirely delivered in French, which will help you consolidate your language skills, immerse yourself in the culture throughout and following your studies, and demonstrate your adaptability and international experience to future employers.

Develop an advanced understanding of state, non-state, governmental and non-governmental actors ‘doing’ international politics in the contemporary world. Learn how these actors perform international politics and how theories and methods can be used to understand their actions.

Learning Labs are three-hour sessions that will allow you to experiment with different study styles, work on group projects and develop research skills. Blending traditional seminars with fieldwork will provide you with a firm theoretical and practical foundation for understanding how international politics works.

Some of our graduates enter sectors such as government, international governmental or non-governmental organisations, whilst others transfer skills gained during study into roles such as policy research, law, activism, campaigning or a wide range of opportunities in the non-profit or commercial fields.
