Take your previous experience in the Deaf community plus your strong visual processing skills to immerse yourself in Deaf culture and community.
In this program, you’ll:
Study more than sign language. You’ll study history, current trends and issues in the Deaf community.
Learn how to be a hearing ally.
Participate in community events as part of course work.
Prepare to work in educational and other community settings.
For Fall 2023, the program will be offered full-time at the Alberta School for the Deaf
